A MOTORCYLCIST was hospitalised after crashing his bike in rush hour traffic near Penkridge last night.
The rider, a 25-year-old man, was treated by emergency services after his bike left the road near the junction of Bendall Lane and Teddesley Road crashing into a hedge by the roadside.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said paramedics responded to reports of a biker crashed into a hedge at 6:45pm
“The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man had pain in his arm and cuts to his hip,” she said. “He was immobilised at the scene and given pain relief before being taken by ambulance to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.”
