MOTORISTS ARE facing slower journeys along South Staffordshire roads this morning as thousands of revellers make their way home from V Festival.
The event came to a close at Weston Park last night and traffic is reported to be slow-moving on the A5 eastbound, between Pickmere Island and Gailey Island.
There is also congestion on the M6 southbound from Junction 12 at Gailey to Junction 10a for the M54 because of an earlier broken down vehicle.
Further north drivers faced queues and congestion on the M6 southbound near Junction 14 for Stafford at around 8.30am.
At around 9.30am Coven Road in Brewood was reported partially blocked in both directions at the Port Lane junction because of an accident.
