Champions Brocton held by lowly Pilkington

NEWLY crowned Midland Combination Premier champions Brocton came from behind to earn a point in a 3-3 home draw against strugglers Pilkington on Saturday.

The teams shared six goals, just five days after the Badgers secured the premier title and promoted to the Midland Alliance league next season.

In seventh spot are Les James Cup finalists Stafford Town who ran out 2-1 winners against Earlswood Town. On Easter Monday, Brocton visit Studley in the league(3pm).
