Childcare costs up by 19 per cent, new report reveals

CHILDCARE costs rose by an average of 19% in the year to December 2013, according to childcare website Findababysitter.com.

The annual report collected data from 231,000 nannies, childminders and other professionals.

It found the average cost of childcare throughout the UK had risen by 19 per cent in the last year, stopping 25 per cent of unemployed parents going to work.
