Copper piping and power tools stolen in raid on Penkridge building site

THIEVES who broke into a Penkridge construction site made off with a quantity of copper piping and a variety of power tools.

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after the burglary at the Tildesley Close site in Penkridge which occurred between 8pm on January 9 and 7am on January 10 during which offenders stole copper piping - six metres of 54 mm, three metres of 15mm, three metres of 22mm and three metres of 28mm, as well as two 108mm 90 degree bends, two 110 volt chop saws and two battery drills.

A police spokesman urged anyone who saw the break-in, or anyone or any vehicles acting suspiciously in the area to call 101, quoting reference 91 of 10 January or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
