THE COUNTDOWN to the end of the public consultation over the future of Stafford Hospital has begun.
With 16 days remaining to the consultation closes at midnight on October 1, administrators for Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust have urged local people to have their say on the plans using whichever format suits them best, in time for their views to be taken into account in the drafting of the final report.
Joint administrator Alan Bloom said: “There is now a matter of days left until the consultation closes and we want to hear from everyone who would like to respond.
“We are pleased so far to have had the opportunity to listen to local people’s insightful views and thought-provoking questions,” he said. “They will all be considered carefully along with the responses we are yet to receive.”
Mr Bloom said it was important members of the public responded by the deadline either by completing the printed response form included with the consultation document and returning it using the Freepost envelope provided, the online response from at www.tsa-msft.org.uk, by emailing TSAconsultation@midstaffs.nhs.uk or by writing to FreepostPlus RSGR-CRGE-EHLE, MSFT-TSA Consultation, Ipsos MORI, Research Services House, Elmgrove Road, Harrow, HA1 2QG.
