STONE was filled with music as town centre shoppers were treated to live performances during a special day of music and fun after the annual music festival was axed this year.
Stone’s independent traders teamed up to stage the event on Saturday.
It followed this year’s annual music festival being cancelled due to lack of funding.
But traders were determined to provide something for the town centre and organised a scaled down version instead.
And the event aimed to raise cash for the 2015 Stone Music Festival.
All the acts included musicians from the area, as well as dance groups, face painting and a music quiz and food and drink stalls.
Volunteers from the Stone Music and Arts Festival Society are now trying to raise cash for next year’s festival. A fund-raising page can be found at www.fundrazr.com
