REAL Ale lovers are expected to descend on an Eccleshall pub this weekend as it pens its doors for its Easter Beer Festival.

The Festival at The Bell, which starts today and runs until Easter Monday, promises ales from a number of Independent UK Brewers, and cider and perry fans are not forgotten with a selection of traditional tipples to suit all tastes.

Licensee Gary Lawrence said: “The Easter Beer Festival has very much become an annual event here at The Bell and we are looking forward to a great weekend welcoming not just our regulars, but visitors from farther afield.”

The pub also plans to hold the usual Thursday night quiz tonight and making their first appearance at The Bell on Saturday, April 19 are Tony and Martin, aka “Magpie’ who bring their own twist on hits from bands including The Eagles, Beatles, REM and Van Morrison.
