THE ELDERLY man who died after his car collided with a house in a village near Stafford has been named by police.

Charles William Blagg, 94, was driving a silver Jaguar which crashed into the front wall of a house at The Green, Brocton, yesterday morning.

His address was given by police as Milford Road, Brocton.

The Green remained closed throughout yesterday afternoon, following the crash at around 11am, while specialist police officers investigated the scene.
