Social networking site Facebook has now been around for a decade. In the last 10 years, the site has reshaped the way we communicate with our friends and how we project ourselves online.

Changing your profile picture, liking a status and adding a friend may well seem like the most familiar activities now, but the phrases would have been meaningless 10 years ago. Keeping in touch with old friends, securing new friendships and organising events are all so much easier now thanks to Facebook. The Altern-8 for Christmas Number One campaign might never have happened without Facebook.

What started as a small web network between Harvard University students – founded by Mark Zuckerberg and documented in film The Social Network in 2010. Today the site has e over 1 billion users globally.

So we want to know how Facebook has changed your life. Have you managed to get back in touch with an old friend you never thought you’d see again? Have you met anyone special through the site? Or do you have any funny stories about your experience of using the social network?
