Farming success at county shows for agriculture students at South Staffordshire College

WINNING WAYS: Agriculture students from South Staffordshire have enjoyed success throughout the year in as young handlers.

The students, studying at the Rodbaston campus in Penkridge have taken part in a number of shows throughout the year.

At the Royal Three Counties Show in June, Bradie Crooks, Harry Turner and Felicity James took third, fifth and sixth places respectively. Bradie Crooks and Felicity James, pictured, took the top slot at the Staffordshire County Show in June with their bull, called Llancillo Hall Judy 4th and her bull calf Rodbaston Luther King.

Alex Wheeler came fourth at the Ashby de le Zouch Show in July and qualified for East of England Young Stockpersons Championships in December. The National Horned Hereford Show in August saw further success, with Felicity James coming second and Bradie Crooks fourth.
