FELL runner Robert Little held on to the Cannock Chase Trig Point crown with a second successive win.
The Dark Peak FR member retained his title in a time of 1:43.53, more than four minutes slower than last year, but his performance was still good enough to edge Tim Werrett of the promoted club, Mercia FR, in second spot, 18 seconds down.
Third spot went to Gareth Briggs (Staffs Moorlands), who was fifth in 2012, in a time of 1:52.00.
Completing the top six were Craig Jeffrey (Staffs Moors) 1:52.23, Rob Grantham (Chester Tri) 1:52.30 and Gareth Little (Nottingham Uni) 1:53.42.
A total of 130 runners completed this tough event and the leading lady was Tracy Dean (unattached) in 2:08.20, ahead of Lisa Grantham (Chester Tri) 2:11.18 and Kathryn Morgans (Wolves & Bilston) 2:11.50.
