THREE fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze at a semi-detached house in Western Downs, Stafford, on Wednesday morning, May 14.

One crew from Rising Brook, one from Stafford and one from Gnosall were called to the incident at Tamar Grove at 8.10am.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze which caused “significant” damage to the ground floor of the property.
