GCSE students at Abbots Bromley School are celebrating after more than 86 per cent achieved grades from A* to C in five subjects or more, with many subjects seeing a 100 per cent pass rate.

All candidates achieved 100 per cent A* to C passes in a range of subjects including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Maths, Further Mathematics, French, History, Spanish, Photography and ICT.

Every student studying Dance and Chinese achieved an A* pass.

Girls from the school, in the village of Abbots Bromley between Rugeley and Uttoxeter, achieved outstanding A Level results last week.

Executive Head, Victoria Musgrave, said: “I could not be happier with the dramatic improvement in results at Abbots Bromley over the last two years.

“Very many congratulations to our hardworking staff, our very supportive parents, and most importantly to our girls who have worked conscientiously to achieve these stunning results. To be executive head of this fine school is indeed a privilege.”
