MOBILE LIBRARY: The library van will be stopping in the village today from 3.30pm until 4.10pm on Wharf Road and from 4.15pm to 5pm at the Grosvenor centre.
ST LAWRENCE CHURCH: Tomorrow there will be a service at Impstones community centre at 11am.On Saturday there will be an open door coffee morning in the church vestry from 10am. Sunday’s services include Holy Communion at 7.45am, parish communion at 10.30am, evening worship at 6.30pm and youth fellowship from 7.30pm until 9pm.
METHODIST NEWS: This Sunday’s service led by Mrs A. Dair at 10.30am. The women’s fellowship will meet on Tuesday for a cup of tea and a chat.
CATHOLIC NEWS: This Sunday the Eucharistic Minister for the service will be Bryan Shackleton with readings and intercessions from Greg Oxley.
PHOENIX CLUB: Tomorrow there will be a talk entitled “China Travels and a raffle from 10am until 12 noon at the Grosvenor centre. The board games group will meet on Monday in the Brearley room from 2pm until 4.30pm.
PARISH COUNCIL: The next council meeting will be held on Monday at 7pm in the Brearley room where there will be an open public forum for anyone to raise matters.
BOWLING CLUB: The club will meet on today at 3pm and 7pm and on Monday at 3pm at the Memorial village hall.
BINGO: The next game will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm in the village hall.
