THE Stafford half marathon remains as popular as ever after organisers announced another sell-out for this year's race.
Race capacity of 2,500 has again been filled for the 2013 race that takes place on Sunday, March 17 (10am).
The race will again start in Stafford town centre, taking in surrounding countryside through Milford and Tixall areas before returning to the finish in Market Square via Beaconside and Victoria Park.
This year's race will see all participants rewarded with a specially commissioned medal, along with a technical t-shirt.
There are also prizes in open and veteran categories.
While entries have now closed for the half marathon, you can still sign up for the School and Family Fun Run being staged on the same day.
This event takes in a one mile town centre course and for full entry details see the Stafford Borough Council website at www.staffordbc.gov.uk/funrun Pre-entry fees are: Stafford Borough schoolchildren 4-18 year olds (free); individuals (18 years and above) £4 and groups (up to four adults) £12.

The Stafford half marathon is part of the North Staffs Road Runners Association programme and next race in the series is the annual Stafford 20 on March 10 (10.30am).
