OLIVIER nominee Gerard Logan is heading to Stafford's Met Studio to perform the new play Wilde Without The Boy.
The play is a dramatic interpretation of De Profundis, the letter Oscar Wilde wrote in 1897 to his lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, from his cell in Reading gaol.
Wilde had been imprisoned for gross indecency two years earlier. He didn't send the letter but entrusted it to a friend who published an incomplete version after his death.
The show is directed by the award-winning Gareth Armstrong.
Wilde Without The Boy is at the Met Studio tomorrow at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and are available from the box office on 01785 254653.
