Skin Care

make up removal

Cold weather, central heating and that run-down, February feeling all take their toll on your skin.

But even though spring is still some way off there are measures you can take that will help you to keep your skin looking bright, clear and fresh.

Make sure you are eating a wholesome, nutrient-rich diet, are getting between seven and eight hours of sleep each night and drinking plenty of water.

The very stuff of life itself, water has no calories, no carbs and no fats. It can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, give us sparkly eyes, clear our skin of spots and make it glow. But water is overflowing with health benefits too.

Let's face it...

If you wear make-up it's vital to carry out a night-time routine of cleansing, toning and moisturing to remove the accumulated grime and grease of the day, as well as washing your face in the morning.

When it comes to skin care, don't forget your body!

At this time of year it's generally only our faces that have to bear the brunt of the weather. So it's is all too easy to forget the rest of our bodies. But by applying a moisturising body lotion each time you get out of the shower or after a hot bath, you will give your skin a much-needed boost and leave it feeling soft and smooth.

These days, being ‘skin care aware’ is not just the preserve of 50% of the population. Guys; your skin has got to last a long time too so it's worth taking care of it.
