Help your kids get active and stay healthy with these great tips
Kids need at least 60 minutes of activity a day to help them stay healthy and happy. Staying active not only burns off excess energy but it helps their muscles and bones grow strong. If they are not burning off energy this could result in them storing excess fat which can lead to long-term illnesses in later life such as cancer, type two diabetes and heart disease.
Keeping active is not always just about making the kids play sport. There are lots of other things you can do with them, and the 60 minutes doesn’t have to all be in one go.

It is not always easy to think of new ways of keeping the kids occupied but try to find activites that your kids enjoy. There are lots of things to do during the holidays that don’t have to cost a fortune. Try some of these activities to keep your kids active and having fun.
