Pietersen rested for Delhi match

England rested Kevin Pietersen at his home Indian Premier League ground for their one-day warm-up against Delhi.

Pietersen made 19 against India A in his first limited-overs appearance since reversing his retirement, but was not given the chance to improve on that at the Delhi Daredevils ground.

England brought in captain Alastair Cook, Joe Root and Stuart Meaker, with Jos Buttler and Tim Bresnan missing out alongside Pietersen.
