STONE Old Alleynians scored four second half goals to come from behind against Penncroft with all of the starting 11 coming from Stone.
The Old Boys took the game to Penncroft from the off and had their first chance after five minutes when Grant Bigham won a tackle in his own half and broke clear on goal only to be thwarted by Swalbs in the visiting goal.
Next it was Nick Buckley’s turn, after being put through by Adam Tompkinson, he took the ball out wide of Swalb but trying to create a better angle the chance was lost.
Stone paid the penalty after 15 minutes when the visitors went in front with their first chance after a powerful free kick was turned onto the bar by Adam Heath but Bradshaw reacted fastest to head home the opener.
Old Alleynians had several chances to equalize, including a couple of chances from Sam Hodgkinson and Buckley with just the keeper to beat, they went begging thanks to the inspired goalkeeper.
They could, however, have been two down at the interval were it not for a tremendous save from Heath who turned a rocket of a shot over the bar.
The finishing of the Old Boys didn’t improve in the second half when Buckley set up Danny Heard, in front of goal but his well struck shot was straight at the keeper.
Eventually Stone equalised after 55 minutes through Tomkinson who latched onto Buckley’s through ball and he gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Old Alleynians continued to pile on the pressure and it came as no surprise when they took the lead a few minutes later after a good piece of attacking play allowed Luke Matthews to drive home from the edge of the box to make it 2-1.
With 20 minutes left substitute Sow Seydou went past a couple of players and gave the keeper no chance to hit home number three.
Pennycroft hardly threatened the hosts and Buckley completed the scoring when he got on the end of a Seydou ball and lobbed the goalkeeper to make it 4-1.
Next Saturday the Old Alleynians are again at home, this time to Shenstone Pathfinders ko 3.00pm.
The second team are at home to Uttoxeter Town ko 2.00pm.
