Hospice charity golf day at Brocton Hall

KATHARINE House Hospice is hosting their annual “Swing Fore Katharine” charity mixed golf day at Brocton Hall GC on Thursday. 

Event fundraiser James Lunney said: "We are delighted to hold the event at Brocton Hall as it really is a superb course and their kind support means more funds go to the hospice."

Prizes will be awarded for first to third  place for those playing in the morning and also separately for those playing in the afternoon. 

This year also see a trophy being introduced to be engraved with the overall winners’ initials.

Swing Fore Katharine is once again being supported by Western Power Distribution, Pickering and Butters and Milford Hall Cricket Club, whose support ensures the maximum funds can be raised for the Hospice. 

As well as entering teams, local businesses also have the opportunity to put there company on course by sponsoring a hole for £100.
