Young women in Stafford borough will be getting a visit from an international rugby player as part of a sports project.

England scrum half, Natasha Hunt, will be passing on inspirational words to those taking part in Sportivate.

Hunt, who has represented her country many times, will be on hand to give advice to participants next month.

The Sportivate scheme kicks off on Monday for women between 16 and 24 years old and is a six week course covering a range of activities such as football, cricket, athletics and zumba.

The hour-long sessions begin at 8pm every Monday evening at Stafford Leisure Centre.

The course costs £5 for the six weeks and is organised by Stafford Borough Council.

To book a place call 01785 619607 or email sportsdevelopment@staffordbc.gov.uk.
