Intrepid Stafford man's 26-mile walk to work

INTREPID Stafford walker Graham Russell is nursing his blisters with a sense of pride after completing a marathon walk to work.

Mr Russell, aged 50, walked 26 miles from his Baswich home to his office in Birmingham to raise money for a poor community in Liberia.

And, together with colleagues and friends who also took part in the walk, he reached the £5,500 fund-raising target to buy a pick-up truck for the Liberian church community they are supporting.
