A STAFFORD hospice is giving an added incentive for participants in its Midnight Walk with an all-expenses paid spa day for two.

Katharine House Hospice, in Weston Road, is hosting the event on September 13 and walkers are being asked to enter before September 1 to be entered into a draw to win the spa prize.

James Lunney, hospice event fundraiser, said: “Ladies are leading the way in registering for this year’s Midnight Walk and we are so pleased to be able to offer the spa day thanks to the kind donation from Moddershall Oaks.”

Supporter Juliet Lindop is bringing 30 friends to form the Jubilee Belles and take advantage of the group discount.

Juliet said: “My support of Katharine House started when a friend lost her battle with cancer and has been ongoing ever since.”

The 10km walk starts at the Beaconside Sports centre, Stafford, at the stroke of midnight. It costs £12.50 to enter for adults but groups of six or more are just £10pp. Under 16’s just £5.

Interested walkers can call 01785 270808, email fundraising@khhospice.org.uk or book online at the Hospice website www.khhospice.org.uk.
