Stafford Rangers reverted to type with another 5 goal thumping at King's Lynn.

The Linnets could have taken the lead in the fourth minute when Andy Hall found Jake Jones but the shot was off target.

A minute later. Ryan Clarke ran through the Rangers defence to pick out Hall but his shot grazed the upright. Mark Goodfellow then forced Jon Brain to save a free kick as the Linnets dominated.

Against the run of play, Rangers opened the scoring in the 21st minute. A well delivered free kick from Sean Kinsella was headed into his own net by George Thomson.

With Rangers still celebrating, King's Lynn were back on terms, Goodfellow's ball across the box hammered home by Rob Duffy.

Thomson went close for King's Lynn before Louis Harris was unlucky with a 35 yarded which dipped over the bar.

In the last minute of the half, Jones hit the Rangers woodwork with Brain saving Goodfellow's follow up.

Kinsella forced a save from Alex Street but the Linnets responded with a quick break, Brain saving well from Goodfellow, who took the corner which was headed home by Ryan Fryatt.

Harris missed a great chance for Rangers when with only Street to beat, he stopped waiting for the referee to award a penalty.

The home side grabbed their third in the 72nd minute. A free kick was awarded outside the box and Thomson curled a shot over the wall and into the net.

Great work from Hall in the 80th minute created a goal for Clarke. The goal glut was completed two minutes into time added on when Ewen Clarke burst into the box and Hall did the rest.
