THE JCB Academy has praised engineering students who achieved good grades demonstrating their technical and academic skills in the vital area.

The Academy says 84% of students on the challenging Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) Advanced programme gained A*-C grades, putting them in a great position to take up careers in engineering.

Physics backed up this very strong showing, with over 60% of students achieving A*-B grades in this challenging science A Level.

Jim Wade the Principal said: “We are delighted that so many of our year 13 students have achieved the grades needed to go on to University and Employment.
