THERE was further good news at St Dominic’s Priory School in Stone, where many students had got a place at their chosen university.

Rachel Morris, 19, is going to Aberystwyth University to study biology. She told the Newsletter: “Results day wasn’t as stressful because I got an unconditional offer. But I am pleased I got a B in biology and a C in my RE extended project.”

Bethan Winterton, 18, is going to Birmingham University to study nursing after getting two As, a C and a D.

Deputy head teacher Pam Porter said: “We’ve had 100% pass rate at A-Level and 100% at AS-Level. In A-Level, 25% of the grades are A to A* and 50% are A* to B. We’re on target for last year.
