STUDENTS from Stafford Grammar School were celebrating this morning as students opened their A Level results.
There were smiles all round for both students and staff who gained a 100 per cent rate, and out of that 72 per cent received A*-B grades.
One student, Yash Gupla, 18, was celebrating gaining four A*s, and gaining a place at Cambridge University to study Economics.
"I am really pleased with my results. I wasn't expecting to get four A*s so it came as surprise, especially the one for Maths," he said.
Other students who were celebrating was William Dobell, 18, who secured his place at Durham University to study Medicine, and Bryony Fagan, 17 who's going to Aberystwyth University to study Geography.
William said: "I am really pleased to get two A*s and one A, and I will be celebrating a lot tonight."
Head Teacher, Micheal Darley, said: "The fantastic results across all subjects and all students are a testament to the hard work, perseverance and determination of students and the professionalism of their teachers.
"Everybody associated with Stafford Grammar School is proud of the achievements of all of our students. It is gratifying to see the rewards for the efforts of our students and their teachers."
