BLESSED William Howard Catholic High School says it is proud of it A-Level students.
Taking into account the school’s full academic A-level entries, 97% of students were successful at grades A* to E.
Phil Smith, head teacher said: “I am delighted so many of our students achieved the grades that will see them gain admission to their university of choice. Well done to the students, their parents and the staff who have supported them.”
Top performers include:
Sarah Lewis with two A*s in Biology and Chemistry with an A in mathematics.
Luke Underwood who got two A*s in Chemistry and mathematics with an A in Physics.
Eleanor Gaffney with one A* in English Literature and two As in History and mathematics.
Mary Palmer, who achieved three As in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Twins, Sophie and Louise Jones, also performed well – especially in their BTEC performing art (Dance) where both girls received distinction. Congratulations to Joe Rhodes and John Wood who have now secured their places at Birmingham Conservatoire and Birmingham University to read Music.
