IT may not be cricketing weather, yet Little Stoke Cricket Club’s juniors are to commence their winter indoor coaching programme later this month.

On Sunday, January 19, at Alleyne’s Sports Centre, Stone, sessions for under-9 and under -11 age groups are being held from 2pm-3.30pm, with under -13s and under-15s 3.30-5pm.

All sessions will involve a comprehensive training schedule over a ten week period, leading up to the 2014 season where the club will enter teams in local leagues at age levels from 9 to 17 years.

The club’s coaching programme will once again be led by experienced ECB Level 3 Staffordshire county coaches who will be assisted by coaches from within the club’s first team and playing membership.

As a Clubmark accredited club all of Little Stoke’s coaches are both ECB qualified and CRB cleared.

New junior players are always welcome at Little Stoke, particularly children between the ages of 6-9 years who have little or no previous cricketing experience, but are sports minded.

If you have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn, the Uttoxeter Road club’s experienced ECB qualified coaches will look forward to channelling and developing your skills.
