MEMBERS of the public in Stafford, Stone, Rugeley and the surrounding areas are being urged to respond to the ongoing consultation around the future of services at Stafford and Cannock hospitals.
Administrators announced their draft recommendations at the end of July, a blueprint for the future that would see Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust dissolved and Stafford Hospital stripped of its maternity services, inpatient paediatric services, emergency surgery and its critical care unit downgraded.
More than 2,000 members of the public have turned out to public consultation meetings in Stafford, Cannock and Stone to express their opinions on the plans.
There are a number of ways people can provide their views on the draft recommendations, including by completing the printed response form included with the printed consultation document and returning it using the Freepost envelope provided.
Printed copies of the consultation document and response form are being distributed at community points such as libraries, council buildings and GP practices around Stafford, Stone, Cannock and the surrounding areas.
The online version of the same response form can be accessed and complete at the administrators website www.tsa-msft.org.uk.
Members of the public can contact the administrators online via their website, by email at TSAconsultation@midstaffs.nhs.uk, by writing to the administrators at Stafford Hospital, Weston Road, Stafford, ST16 3SA or by calling the administrator consultation information line on 0800 408 6399
