Staffordshire police are renewing their plea for help in tracing missing Stone man Kieran 'Lally' McColl, who has not been seen since Thursday evening.
Police inquiries have established that the 21-year-old was dropped off by a friend in Trent Close, Stone, at around 10.30pm on Thursday.
CCTV and witnesses have confirmed that Lally, as he is known to his family and friends, was on his own and walked from Trent Close onto Westbridge Park, past the leisure centre car park on his left and in the direction of his home address in Thomas Avenue.
This is roughly a 20-25 minute walk and his route could have taken him from the tow path via a canal bridge onto the estate.
Police say extensive searches to locate Lally have already been carried out, and this work will continue.
"We are extremely grateful for your continued support and would ask that anyone with information on Kieran's whereabouts contacts us on 101, quoting incident number 290 of May 9," a spokeswoman said.
"We are keen to trace anyone who was in the area of Westbridge Park, or on the canal tow path leading to Thomas Avenue, from 9pm onwards on Thursday 8 May.
"Please share this renewed appeal. Our previous appeal has been seen by more than 198,000 people."
Police added that a silver BMW seen in the area has been eliminated from the inquiry.
