Missing 'vulnerable' Stafford man: police appeal for help

Police are appealing for the public's help in finding a "vulnerable" young Stafford man who has been missing for more than a week.

Daniel Jones, aged 23, was last seen at 3.20am on Monday May 26. He had been living at an address in Lovatt Street, Stafford.

Daniel is described as white, 5ft 5in tall with a medium build, blue eyes and short, brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue woollen peaked cap, dark-coloured t-shirt, grey fleece hooded tracksuit top and bottoms and old white Timberland boots. He was carrying a large, green-coloured rucksack.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “We consider Daniel to be vulnerable and we are concerned for his welfare.

“Extensive searches are underway to locate him and we would ask that anyone who has seen him, or had any contact, to get in touch.

“It is believed Daniel is still in the Stafford area or in Stoke-on-Trent.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 205 of May 26.
