HIXON-based Allett Mowers will be showcasing its range of domestic lawnmowers at this year's Chelsea Flower Show.

It's the second year that Allett has exhibited at Chelsea.

The form has already made an impression on the show with its unique lawn care system that converts a petrol powered cylinder lawnmower into a multi-purpose six-in-one machine, being shortlisted for "Product of the Year" in 2013.

This year, Allett will be showcasing its full range of domestic lawnmowers, aimed at both the keen home gardener to the semi-professional grounds keeper.

The mowers will be set against a quintessentially English garden.

"Chelsea was a fantastic experience for us last year," said Austin Jarrett, Allett managing director.

"There was a lot of interest in our range of domestic cylinder mowers, the first range to be launched in Britain for 60 years. We are looking forward to demonstrating the many benefits of the cylinder mower over its rotary counterpart."
