STAFFORD Rangers’ abandoned game at Grantham Town on Saturday has been re-arranged.
The Evo-Stik Premier fixture at The South Kesteven Sports Stadium was called off after just 85 seconds of action, following a severe storm (rain, hail, thunder and lightning) over the ground.
New date for the fixture is Tuesday, March 25, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
This Saturday. Rangers face a crucial home league fixture against fellow strugglers Frickley Athletic when, under new boss Graham Heathcote, the Marston Road outfit will be looking for their third league win in four.
The previous two wins since Heathcote took charge were also against fellow strugglers, Stocksbridge Park Steels and basement side Droylsden (both 3-1).
However, Rangers will be without striker Karl Ashton on Saturday as he has joined fellow Evo Stik Premier rivals Rushall Olympic on a month’s loan.
