ALLOTMENTS AND GARDENS TALK: Ray Basset a national expert in gardening will give a talk entitled ‘the ABC of vegetables for the kitchen’ on Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Grosvenor centre. Tickets are £5 including tea or coffee and biscuits, available from the post office, the allotments or by contacting 01785 824211 or 822348. Questions for the speaker should be submitted in advance to the ticket sellers.

TEA DANCE: An old fashioned afternoon tea dance featuring the Sweet Melody Dreamboat Band with music from the 30’s and 40’s has been organised for Tuesday from 2pm until 4.30pm in the Memorial village hall. Money raised will go to the Gnosall Lions to help local community groups.

HEALTHY WALK: A shorter walk has been organised for Wednesday and will leave the allotment car park at 10.30am.

PHOENIX CLUB: Tomorrow the club will hold its AGM from 10am in the Grosvenor centre and there will be a club walking holiday in Llangollen from Monday to Thursday.

CATHOLIC NEWS: This Sunday’s Mass at 8.45am will be led by Eucharistic Minister Rupert Lister.

METHODIST CHURCH NEWS: This Sunday’s the service will be at 10.30am led by Mr. Ian Mason.

ST LAWRENCE CHURCH NEWS: Tomorrow there will be a service at Impstones community centre at 11am. This Sunday there will be a Holy Communion service at 7.45am, a 10.30am Parish Communion and messy church at 4pm, there is no evening service this week.
