The accolade for Lewis Partnership flagship hotel, The Moat House, awarded by AA Hotel and Restaurant Inspectors places the hotel firmly in the top 10 per cent of the country’s restaurants.

Chris Lewis, Managing Partner of the Lewis Partnership said: “We are thrilled to have retained this prestigious rating.

“The AA Rosette was the first nationwide scheme for grading the quality of food in hotels and restaurants and for us to be part of that once again is certainly something to be proud of.”

Simon Numphud, manager of the AA Hotel Services said he was delighted to continue to recognise the quality of the cooking at the Moat House.

“The modern British cooking offers bold hearty dishes with careful presentation, good use of local, seasonal produce combined with well balanced flavours underpinned by strong cooking skills.”

Evaluation for the award is based on the quality of the entire meal including ancillary items and is not influenced by other guides.
