Police are appealing for information following a 46-year-old man's death in a Penkridge car crash.
John Robert Allcock was driving along Pottal Pool Road on Sunday at 11.50am when his Fiat Scudo was involved in a collission.
The Cheslyn Hay resident was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham but later died as a result of his injuries.
Now officers appealing to locals to help them piece tigether the circumstances that lead to the accident as no other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
Pottal Pool Road was closed for some time while officers carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Sgt Jonathan King at Rugeley police station on 0300 123 44 55 quoting incident number 363 of September 5.
