A MOTORCYCLIST who came off his bike on the A518 outside Haughton in muddy conditions escaped with minor injuries.

Paramedics and police were called to the incident on the Newport Road just after 8am on Monday morning around a mile from the village.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “An ambulance and a paramedic officer on the scene conveyed a man with minor injuries to Stafford Hospital.
“He was collared and boarded but only as a precaution.”
