EPX, who count Littlewoods and PC World among their customers, have benefited from Graduate Advantage - which is paid for and operated by ten West Midlands universities and the EU Regional Development Fund to employ Charlotte Cameron, 22 who is now moving on to a permanent job with another company.

The scheme has already allowed the company to employ Media & Communication graduate Suzi Wilson in a full-time, permanent position.

Daniel Ellis, Managing Director of EPX Technical Services Ltd said the funding allowed graduates with excellent academic records to gain practical work experience in their chosen field.

“It was just what we needed. It allowed us to ‘try before we buy’ but we also did it to help people that we knew who needed to gain employment experience.

“With Suzi, we ended up hiring someone who turned out to be indispensable."

Charlotte said: “Although I am sorry to be leaving EPX I have now secured an excellent position with another company doing exactly what I had hoped for.”
