STAFFORD mums are mixing business with pleasure at a new networking group to help parents build their businesses.
Busy Mums held its first session last week at Rising Brook Church Centre. The session provides a chance for adults to network while their youngsters play together.
Life-coach Grace Marshall came up with the idea after struggling to attend other networking meetings following the birth of her daughter Catherine in February.
She approached Carol Garrington, founder of the Staffordshire-based Wings business network, with the idea and Busy Mums was born.
"As a mum trying to develop and grow your own business you become accustomed to working around your children," she said.
"Rather than constantly having to look for childcare when I wanted to network I thought it would be better and much more enjoyable for the children, to try something a little different."
