A RADICAL plan to cut Britain’s carbon emissions to zero by 2030 will be revealed in Stafford on Wednesday.

Tobi Kellner of the Centre for Alternative Technology is giving a talk, Zero Carbon Britain 2030, at the Tom Ruxton Lecture Theatre at Staffordshire University’s Beaconside Campus. Visitors are asked to arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
The renewable energy consultant will outline a new energy strategy based on drastically cutting energy consumption by adoption of energy efficiency and new technologies.
He will also cover renewable energy sources and how agriculture and diets would change in the wake of the strategy.
The talk has been organised by Stafford-based environmental group Sustainability Matters , in conjunction with Staffordshire University’s Centre for Energy Efficient Systems, and is supported by Stafford Borough Council.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
