A TRIP to the hair salon turned into a strut down the catwalk for a Stone mum whose model potential was spotted by a town businesswoman.
When Cheryl Senders’ looks and “striking personality” caught the eye of Stone Francesco owner Helen Quinton she invited her to do some modelling for the company.
Miss Senders’ new pastime has since taken her beyond Staffordshire to the London Fashion Week,
when she entered the Top Model UK competition and came second.
Ms Quinton accompanied her to the event where Miss Senders fought off stiff competition from aspiring models across the country.
The 22-year-old Hempbutts resident works for Phones 4 U and is mum to 14-month-old Lily.
She said: “When I was younger I wanted to be a model but I thought it was a dream that would never really happen.”
