COLD-CALLING con men are targeting Staffordshire folk in a scam involving digital money sending services.
Fraudsters are contacting people and claiming they have been mis-sold payment protection insurance which they are eligible to reclaim.
In order to do so they request victims pay a commission through a digital service like PayPoint, MoneyGram or Ukash, allowing them to receive the cash without using a bank account.
