VANDALS caused more than £1,500 damage to billboards in the town advertising Stafford College open days.

The boards at Greyfriars were torn down on Friday, January 4, shortly after being put up.
Cathy Webb, head of marketing and student services at Stafford College, said the series of five billboards represented a significant investment, and advertised open evenings and the opportunities for January enrolments.
She said they were grateful that the boards (pictured) had been replaced free of charge by advertising company Primesight but the college had still lost half the period for which the posters were booked.
