COUNTY council bosses are celebrating their website being named one of the best in the UK.
The Staffordshire County Council website has been ranked among the top five per cent of local authority websites in the country, achieving a maximum score of four-out-of-four.
Pat Corfield, cabinet member for culture, communities and customers, said: “Our website is a key tool for delivering important services to our residents at a time and place that’s convenient for them.
“While we’re delighted with being ranked in the top five per cent of local authority websites, the work doesn’t stop there.
“We will continue to improve the site for our customers as well as adding new online services.
“We use the customer satisfaction survey, the data we collect from website visitors, and best practice from other councils to ensure it is continually improved.”
