A CLUB facing the axe after being slapped with a notice to get out looks set to be saved as members plan to buy the building.

Club members drafted in Stafford MP Jeremy Lefroy to help negotiate with Redrow Homes and the club is now hoping to buy the premises.
Paul Johnson, from the club, said: “There is still some work to do but we are hoping that it will go through very soon.”
