A group of 17 children aged between 13-17 from Eccleshall Youth Club left the village library at 7.30pm dressed in pyjamas and onesies heading into the town centre armed with a quiz for residents to help raise awareness of the charity.

Arch community development specialist April Lewis said: “Some young people aren’t lucky enough to sleep in their own homes and have to stay in care, hostels or bed and breakfasts.

"Some children don’t have their own space to do their homework or play with their friends," she said. “For such a small youth club we were glad to see so many of the children getting involved in this event.”

The Youth Club are hoping to relocate to a new home at Eccleshall Cricket Pavilion at Easter.
