ROBERT Francis QC today announced dates for delivering and publishing the final report into the scandal at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust.
The chairman will deliver the report to the Secretary of State for Health on Tuesday, Februiary 5 and publish it on Wednesday, February 6 before laying the report before parliament on the same day.
Mr Fancis said: “Following discussions with the secretary of state for health, at his request I
have agreed to hand my final report to him on 5 February.
“I will then publish it on Wednesday 6 February shortly ahead of the report being laid
before Parliament that day,” he said. “I am making this information publicly available, so that core participants, witnesses and those following the Inquiry are aware of its next steps.”
